The FLASH + ARROW bring us a NEW show.

“When heroes alone are not enough … the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

Confession: Yes, I faithfully watch The Flash. The embarrassment comes from the expectation that only 14-year-old teens and pimple-faced nerds are given the rights to view TV shows based on graphic novels. Thankfully, Arrow and The Flash have captured a more adult audience while still appealing to a general audience.

Nostalgia is a deadly weapon used by show creator Greg Berlanti (known for Green Lantern, Brothers and Sisters, Dawson's Creek). Berlanti is aware that the TV audience loved the chemistry between Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller on Prison Break so he made Dominic Purcell (The Flash’s Heatwave) and Wentworth Miller (The Flash’s Captain Cold), bringing back old memories.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, is coming to television January 2016 bringing together our favorite villains and heroes from The Flash and Arrow, teaming up for the spinoff. It’s exciting and refreshing to see that they didn’t simply place a collection of heroes in the spinoff and brought together a darker, edgier side by using characters that blur the lines between hero and villain.

Cast Highlights:

Grant Gustin BARRY ALLEN (The Flash),

Stephen Amell OLIVER QUEEN (Arrow),

Victor Garber (Firestorm),

Brandon Routh (Atom),

Dominic Purcell (Heatwave),

Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold),

Caity Lotz (Black Canary/Sara Lance),

With new faces:

Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter) [Darvill is from the TV Show Doctor Who]

Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl),

Franz Drameh (Jay Jackson)…

In addition, I am excited to see what the creators do with DC Comics villain Vandal Savage as the main villain in the series.
